SAU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Department of Geography Lecturer Dr. Tauseef Ahmad was elected as a member of the working group for the COST- 'CA22122-Rethinking the Blue Economy: Socio-Ecological Impacts and Opportunities (RethinkBlue) action.
The COST- 'CA22122 action addresses the impact on coastal populations due to climate change, technological progress and globalization within the framework of the Blue Economy and related policies affecting European societies.
Dr. Ahmad, who has expertise in natural hazards and climate change, will contribute to the working group by sharing knowledge and capacity building among researchers and stakeholders of the Blue Economy through online/offline meetings, research workshops, seminars, trainings and conferences.
